An elegant, reclaimed, cast iron swans nest fire basket and fire dogs. The fire basket has a good space for burning and is perfect for use outside as a fire pit. The basket has a traditional swans nest shape which has a front bar, with attractive twist detail, to stop coals from falling out of the basket. The fire dogs have decorative feet and large ball finials. There are also smaller ball finials that fit into the outer part of the grill to secure the basket on to the fire dogs. The basket and fire dogs have been blacked and polished. The basket and fire dogs are reclaimed and therefore have some slight signs of use and wear. The fire dogs have some marks and areas where the black polish has chipped away. There is some tarnish and some signs of wear to the basket and fire dogs. Some small pitting marks to the basket. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire basket is of a good size and design and would be a nice feature in a hearth or perfect as a garden fire pit.
