An elegant, reclaimed, Edwardian painted pine front door with a stained glass panel. The door has a style typical of the era, with an oval panel fitted with pretty stained glass in yellow, blue, green and purple. The stained glass is surrounded by textured, rippled, plain glass. The oval panel has a curved shelf and eyebrow below and above it. The base of the door has three tall recessed panels with thin mouldings. The door is currently painted white but the paint has cracking, chipping and staining and will need to be stripped and repainted by purchaser to suit. Door hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser and there is a space for a letter box plate. The door is in solid condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of reclaimed antiques. There are some knocks and chips, especially to the edges and corners. There are some cracks in the plain textured glass surrounding the stained glass. The door has some holes and marks from hardware removal and there are some small holes and stains where the original door numbers were removed. We can patch repair the larger holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a nice example of Edwardian design and would be ideal for a period home.
