A pair of reclaimed Victorian painted pine window shutters comprising of seven leaves, with four to sit on one side and three on the other side. Each side is hinged together and the smaller leaves are designed to fold back behind the slightly larger leaves with decorative beading. There is a rebated edge so the shutters sit nicely together. The shutters have been painted white but there are some stains, knocks and chips to the paint and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint them to suit. The shutters are reclaimed and therefore have some signs of wear and age. There are some knocks, marks, chips and splintering, especially to the edges and corners. The shutter heights may need slight levelling. The outer hinges will need replacing as they are damaged. The back face of the shutters have two areas with some damage, indentations and holes where door hardware has been removed and there is a surface crack below one of the indentations. The base of the right hand larger leaf has a cutout on the front face. Please see pictures for condition details.
