A handsome and unusually designed, reclaimed, hardwood external door. The door is a reclaimed contemporary item with an attractive chevron panel design. The door is very heavy, solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints and it has a weather strip at its base and a letter plate. The external face of the door has been painted red and the internal face has a wax or varnished finish, highlighting the lovely colour of the wood. The paint has chips, marks and wear and purchaser may wish to sand and re-finish the door to suit. The door has large hinges and there is a bolt at the base of the inside of the door. The door is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected. There are some holes, marks and stains where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair larger holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The letterplate has some scratches and slight tarnish. The door has some knocks and chips and the weather strip has had a cut out at one end where it was previously fitted. Please see pictures for condition details.
