A handsome, reclaimed, Edwardian oak internal / external glazed door. The door is very heavy, solid and well made and each face has a large solid panel at the base, surrounded by decorative mouldings. The centre of the door has oak shelf style detailing and above this the door has 9 panels glazed with plain rippled glass that is set into attractive brass casements. The oak has been varnished and the door has a dark wood tone but there is bubbling, wear, scratches and marks, especially to the solid panel, and purchaser may wish to sand and refinish the door to suit. The door is suited to internal use or could be used externally, ideally under a porch to provide some protection against further weathering. The door is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of antique items. The door has some marks, knocks and scratches, especially to the edges and corners. There are some holes and discolouration where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair larger holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a good quality example of Edwardian design and is an interesting item with great period charm.
