A rustic, reclaimed, Victorian pine kitchen unit / island / serving table / drawers. The kitchen unit has an attractive rustic appearance with a distressed white paint finish to the drawers and legs. The top of the unit is stripped pine, which has perhaps been waxed, and has fantastic character and a nice colour. The unit has two large drawers at the front, with traditional metal handles, and there is a ledge at the back of the unit. There is a pine shelf under the drawers, at the base of the unit, ideal for storing crockery or other kitchen items. The kitchen unit is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of age and wear that add to its rustic character. One foot has been more recently painted and is a brighter colour and there is some slight damage to the leg. The unit could be sanded and re-finished by purchaser to suit. The left hand drawer has some knocks and slight damage to the outside edges. The front edge of the unit has some circular indentations. The stripped pine top has some scratches, marks, knocks and stains and the unit has some surface cracks that do not affect the items structural integrity. Some marks and wear can be seen on the paintwork. The handles have some slight surface rust and tarnish. The kitchen unit is perfect for a period cottage or country home and has a characterful antique appearance. The unit is a useful and desireable item.
