Dimensions:

An elegant, reclaimed, painted pine fire surround. The surround has a traditional, period, style with reeded and dentil detailing along the crossbar and an applied flower detail at each end. The fire opening has a moulded border. The pine has been painted white but purchaser could sand and re-paint the surround to suit. The surround is ideal for a bedroom or reception room and can be paired with a cast iron fire insert. There are metal fixing lugs on each side for attaching the surround to the wall. The fire surround is in solid and useable condition but has some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The fire surround has some knocks, marks and chips. There are some knocks to the front edge of the mantel. The paint has some chipping and light stains and there is some residue filler or putty in places, perhaps where some knocks have been filled. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire surround has an attractive appearance that would suit a period home and would be a nice addition to a fireplace.
