An elegant, reclaimed, original Victorian painted pine door for glazing. The door is solid and very well made, with gunstock stiles and mortise and tenon joints. The base of the door has two flush panels on the outer face and two recessed panels on the inner face. The top of the door has two large panels, for glazing. We can glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has been painted white but it has chipping, scratches and stains and it will need sanding and re-painting by purchaser to suit. The door is antique and has some signs of age and wear, as expected. There are some holes and marks left from hardware removal. The door has some knocks, splits and chips, especially to the base and edges. There are some surface cracks but it does not affect the structural integrity of the door. The door has had some patch repairs. The door width may need some very slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is suited to both internal and external use and once glazed and re-painted it will be perfect for adding period character to a home.
