DE0908 A RECLAIMED PAINTED OAK EXTERNAL GOTHIC COTTAGE DOOR

Dimensions:

A reclaimed, solid oak, Gothic style cottage external door. The door has a Gothic design with vertical panels that have an arched top, typical of the style. The recessed panels have simple mouldings around them. At the top of the door there is a small panel glazed with clear glass and below this, a square raised and fielded panel, currently with a door number attached. The door has space for a letter box plate and there is a lock but the door has no key and therefor the lock will need to be replaced by purchaser. The door has a dark varnish or paint on the external face and has been painted white on the internal face. The finish has scratches, marks, chips and flaking and the door will need stripping and re-finishing by purchaser to suit. The door is in solid, useable condition with some signs of wear and age, as expected of reclaimed items. The oak has some knocks and chips and there are some small holes. The door has some small nails and the original door number is still attached. The door width may need very slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a characterful appearance, ideal for a cottage or Gothic style property and is a good reclaimed item.
