A reclaimed external oak cottage style door with glazed panel. The handsome door is well made and solid and has a nice rustic appearance. The front face of the door has oak strips that run vertically down the door. There is an iron letter box plate and the internal face has a handle and bolts that are painted black and traditional in style. The oak has a high shine varnished finish. The door has a small clear glazed panel at the top with leaded bars. The oak door is in good reclaimed condition, with some signs of use and age, adding to its rustic character. The door has a 5-6mm bow from the middle to the bottom of the leading edge that would curve 5mm approximately into the house. The letter box plate, handle and bolts have some tarnish, slight surface rust and the paint is flaking. The door has some scuffs, scratches and knocks. The oak has some colour variation. There are some small holes and some marks where door hardware has been removed. The lock has no key and will need to be changed by purchaser. The hinges have surface rust. There is a small knock to one of the leaded bars and the surface has chipped slightly. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a lovely, traditional, cottage appearance and would be ideal for a period country home.
