A rustic, reclaimed, antique French farmhouse table that could also be used for a shop display. The table has a nice "distressed" appearance with a pine planked top with rustic character and signs of age. The pine base and stretchers have been painted grey and has a rustic finish. The pine top has been cleaned with a wire brush and the wood left bare for purchaser to apply a finish to suit. The top could be sealed, waxed or oiled and the base could be sanded and re-finished by purchaser if desired. The table originally had four drawers but they have been removed and fixed panels applied. We could reinstate the drawers for an extra cost. The quote for drawers is dependant on runner systems and your requirements but you should budget £400 approximately. Please contact us to discuss your requirements if you would like the drawers reinstated. The table probably seats 4 adults comfortably as the legs at each end of the table have a pine stretcher and therefore the ends may not be suitable for a chair. We could add breadboard ends to each end of the table top, for an extra charge, to increase the seating capacity to 6. Please contact us for details and a quote. The table is in reclaimed condition with a rustic appearance and some character signs of age and wear. The top has some holes, large splits and cracks and please note the cracks have widened further since being photographed. There are scratches, grooves and some damage and knocks to the table top corners. There are some treated woodworm holes. The table has some old filler or glue in-between each plank that has dried out and is flaking. The pine has colour variation and some stains. The base paint has chipping and wear. Please see pictures for condition details. The table has a very appealing rustic, distressed, look that would fit nicely in a country or rustic interior. The table is also ideal for a shop display and has a good sized table top for merchandise. The table is a very nice antique item with great character and charm.
