Dimensions:

A handsome pair of reclaimed glazed oak doors for internal or external use. The doors are in a Georgian style and are very well made with gunstock stiles and mortise and tenon joints. The quarter sawn oak is of a very nice quality and some medullary rays can be seen. Each door has a flush panel at the base and 12 panels that have recently been glazed with clear toughened glass that meets current safety standards, please see pictures for the glass safety stamp. The doors have been varnished but they could be sanded and re-finished by purchaser to suit. The glass is sealed but the glazing bead is held with one pin so it can easily be removed for sanding and re-finishing the oak. The doors do not have a rebated edge but we could add a closing bead, for an extra charge, if required. Please contact us for details and a quote. The doors are in good solid condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The doors have some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair larger hardware holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details. There are some knocks, scratches and marks to the wood. One door has a notch out of one top corner. One door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a fantastic look and would be a very nice addition to a home.
