A reclaimed, traditional style, brass butlers door bell and pull. The door bell is a reproduction of a charming period design from the Victorian and Edwardian eras and were commonly used in large houses. The bell system is complete with brass bell attached to a spring / coil and is mounted on a wooden back plate. The set has a large brass plate with pull handle, mounted on a wooden back plate, for operating the bell and there are 3 brass pulleys and cord. The bell has been set up on the green wooden board photographed to show how it should be put together. We can leave the bell on the board and send it by courier so you can see how it should be set up, or remove the bell set from the board and send in a box via Royal Mail. Please contact us to discuss postage options and quotations. Please note that extra pulleys may be needed depending on the positioning of the bell. The bell is in full working order with some small signs of use, as expected of reclaimed items. The bell, pull and coil have some slight tarnish and wear, as expected. There are some scratches and marks visible. Please see pictures for condition details. The butlers bell is a lovely reproduction of a period design and is the perfect addition to a period home or an interesting item for a modern home.
