A very decorative cast iron combination fire. The fire is a vintage reproduction of Art Nouveau styles and has a very ornate design, with scrolling vines and tulips along the crossbar and on the shaped smoke hood. There are corbels under the mantel and the legs have panel detailing. The fire has shaped front bars and a smoke flap and there is a fixing lug on either side of the mantel for attaching the fire to the wall. The iron has been blacked and polished and the fire has a good finish. The fire is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of wear, as expected. The fire has some casting marks, small knocks, pitting and scratches. The fire brick has some knocks and chips, especially to the sides. The front bars have some chips and knocks. There are some knocks to the mantel edges. The back has surface rust, as expected. The fire has new mantel screws. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire has a very pretty appearance and is of a good size for a living or dining room. The fire is the ideal item for adding character to a fireplace.
