A handsome, reclaimed, oak plank external door and frame. The door is heavy and well made and has a nice design with an arched top. The door comprises of 5 planks with 3 ledges on the back face. The front of the door has metal studs and retains some door furniture. The front face has a pull handle and escutcheon and the back face has two large door strap hinges, bolt, chain and latch that are traditional in style. The door has a lock but there is no key and it will need changing. The door is set into a good quality oak frame but please note the frame does not have a sill. We could add a sill for an extra charge, please contact us for details. The front of the door has a varnished or stained finish and the back face has been painted white. The paint has some marks and chips and purchaser may wish to sand and re-finish the door to suit. The door is in good condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The oak has some scratches and marks. There are some splits and splinters in the frame and some nails left from previous use. The door has some knocks, chips and small holes. The painted face has some chips and knocks. There is some slight tarnish to the metal door furniture. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very nice appearance that is ideal for a country or rustic house and is a well made item that would be a fantastic addition to a home.
