A pair of reclaimed, Victorian, stripped pine cupboard doors, C1890-1900. The doors have a traditional design with recessed panels surrounded by decorative beading. The doors would be ideal for a kitchen or bedroom cupboard and they are of a good size. The doors are well made and have a rebated edge so they sit nicely together. The doors have been stripped to bare wood but the pine does have some stains and marks and purchaser may wish to lightly sand and refinish the doors to suit. The doors are reclaimed and have some signs of wear and age. The doors have some surface splits, cracks and splintering but the doors are solid and stable. The pine has some staining, scratches, paint spots and marks. Hinges will need to be added and there is some slight damage to the wood where one hinge sat. There is some filler visible around the decorative beading. The metal door hardware has some surface rust and there is no key and the lock will therefore need to be replaced. Please see pictures for condition details. The pair of doors are versatile and well made, with an appearance that would be ideally suited to a period home.
