Two reclaimed, slim, Victorian doors that have been converted for use as a pair. The doors are of the ideal size for an en-suite or cupboard and they have a traditional design with a larger panel over a smaller panel. The panels are recessed with decorative mouldings on one face and a single panel with no beading on the back face. The front face of the doors have been painted white but there are some marks, scratches, flakes and chips to the paint and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint the doors to suit. The back face is unpainted and has a faded dark wood stain. The doors have been converted into a pair with a pine bead added to the inner edges to create a rebate so the doors sit nicely together. The doors are in reclaimed condition with some signs of age and use, as expected of antique items. There are several holes and slight damage, mainly to the edges and sides of the door. There are some knocks and chips and some of the door edges have light damage where they have sustained knocks or from removal from their original position. The doors have had some patch repairs to the tops and a repair to the back face of one door. There are some scratches and marks, especially to the back face. There is a knock to the top of one decorative moulding piece. The paint has flaking, chips and marks and the doors will need sanding and re-painting to suit. Some screws have been left in the back face of the doors and some pencil marks can be seen. Hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a lovely period appearance and will be ideal for many home projects.
