A very large, original, vintage metal ex-workshop drawer unit dating to the 1950-60s. The Mid-Century unit is heavy and solid and is on wheels. The metal unit has a fantastic industrial look and would be ideal for a business, office, home office or industrial / Mid-Century home. The unit has a great deal of storage space with 15 drawers and each drawer has a pull handle and space for a label. The unit has a large, sloped, base piece that has been designed to ensure the unit does not fall over when drawers are opened. The unit has been placed on wheels but they could be fairly easily removed by purchaser if they are not required. The metal has been stripped and lacquered and the drawers have an attractive silvery finish. The drawer unit is in good, useable, reclaimed condition with some character signs of wear that add to its industrial charm. The metal has some knocks, scratches, marks and tarnish and some slight surface rust, especially to the back. Some colour variation and marks, especially to the drawers which have darker and lighter patches. One wheel has a bolt missing and all the wheel bolts have some surface rust. The inside of the drawers have some surface rust in areas. Please see pictures for condition details. The drawer unit is of a very good size and has a great industrial look, ideal for adding character to a home or business.
