A pair of reclaimed Arts and Crafts oak plank internal doors. The doors have a very nice appearance and each door comprises of four planks with ledges on the back face. The front face of the doors have thick cover strips, creating a vertical panelled effect, and each door has decorative iron straps and an oak pull. The back of the doors have a wooden thumb latch and receiver but please note the latch is a tight fit with the receiver. The oak has a very attractive and interesting grain and we believe the doors have been stained and a wax finish applied. The doors are reclaimed and therefore have some signs of use and wear, as expected. The oak has some scratches, marks and knocks. There is some slight colour variation and marks. The hinges are of differing sizes at the top and bottom and there are some notches left from the original hinges. One door has a hole in a panel, perhaps from hardware removal. The metal door furniture has some tarnish and slight surface rust. There are some surface cracks to the ledges. Door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors are lovely example of design from the Arts and Crafts era and will be a very nice addition to the home.
