An attractive pine table with a large cast iron base. The table has been made using reclaimed pine that sits on a cast iron base with an industrial look that compliments the rustic top. The table top has been made using wide reclaimed pine planks with a thin pine border and wider pine at each end, finishing the table edges nicely. The cast iron base has an industrial feel with curved legs and two stretchers. The base has been lacquered to protect the interesting patina. The pine top has had a good quality varnish applied that highlights the wood grain and offers some protection against spillages. 

The table is reclaimed and has some lovely rustic character features that adds to its charm. There are some small wood knots and natural marks expected of reclaimed wood. The pine top has a surface crack and there are some indentations and marks. There is an area of the table top that has some orange stains. The pine has some colour variation. The base has character tarnish, marks, light surface rust and scratches. One leg has a small knock or casting marks. Please see pictures for details. 

The table is of a large size and would be ideal for dining, seating up to 8. The table could also be used for a home office or as a decorative table for displaying lamps etc. The table is a nicely made item with an exclusive design that is both useful for the home and has great character.
