Dimensions:

A handsome, reclaimed, large reproduction cast iron fire surround. The surround is traditional in design, in the style of 1890-1900's designs and is heavy, solid and well made. The fire surround has a large mantel with a decorative edge and the fire opening has a simple border surrounding it. The cast iron has been primed and spray painted black giving the fire a nice finish. The surround is of a very large size, ideal for a living or dining room and could be paired with a wood burner or fire basket. The fire surround is in good reclaimed condition with some slight signs of use and wear. The surround has some small marks and knocks and some scratches including a larger scratch along the mantel. The back edge of the legs have some slightly uneven areas from casting. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire surround has a nice classic appearance, suited to both period and modern properties and would make a nice feature within a home.
