A traditional, reclaimed, stripped pine internal glazed door, likely to date to 1890-1900. The door has been well made with mortise and tenon joints and has elegant gunstock stiles. The base of the door has two panels, recessed on one face and flush on the other. The top of the door has four panels that have been glazed with textured toughened glass and have a thin glazing bead. The pine has been stripped and it has a nice colour and interesting wood grain. The door is in solid and useable condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of reclaimed antiques. The door has some small holes and marks where hardware has been removed and larger holes have been filled. The door has some small knocks and chips, especially to the edges and corners and there is a small amount of damage to the base of the door where there is some cracking and splintering from the door sustaining a knock. The hinge slots can be seen on one face of the door and there is a small amount of damage near the top hinge slot. The door has some stains and colour variation. There is some orange staining around the panel moulding. The door height and width may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a very nice period appearance and is a desirable item that will add character to a home.
