An attractive reclaimed oak church frontal. The frontal is ideal for converting to make a small area of panelling or it would make nice bed head. The frontal has been waxed or varnished but it could be stripped and re-finished by purchaser to suit. The frontal has 3 large flat panels with raised moulding between each, a book rest top and legs with an attractive chamfered edge. As expected of reclaimed items the church frontal has some small signs of age and wear. The oak has some small marks, scratches and chips. There are some knocks to the corners and some splintering. The right hand foot has some oak that has cracking and is breaking away from the foot and purchaser will need to make some repairs to this. Both feet have surface cracks and some gaps in the oak. There is some light staining and colour variation. Please see pictures for condition details. The church frontal has a traditional and attractive appearance and the oak is of a good quality, with a nice colour and grain. Ideal for interior projects, the church frontal is perfect for adding period charm to a home or business.
