A pair of attractive pine fanlights dating to C.1931. The fanlights have a traditional, period, semi-circular appearance and each has 12 sections for glazing. The fanlights are now missing some glass and one fanlight has a white film backing attached to the remaining glass. The fanlights would now make very nice items for upcycling and are ideal for converting into a mirror. We have shown the fanlights together, making a circle and they could be attached and re-glazed with mirror glass. We can re-glaze the fanlights with mirror or plain glass for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The fanlights are in reclaimed condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected. The frame edges have some knocks, chips and splinters and some light damage. The corner of one fanlight will need slight repair as the joint has opened up. One fanlight has a small hole in the frame. The paint has chipping and flaking and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint the fanlights to suit. Please see pictures for condition details. The fanlights have a very nice period look and would make a fantastic and very interesting showpiece for the home.
