Dimensions:
A reclaimed, internal, arched glazed pitch pine door and frame dating to C.1930s. The door is heavy and well made and has a nice period appearance with a large recessed panel at the base and a large arch topped panel glazed with clear glass with leaded glazing bars. The door has decorative iron handles and a lock with key. The door is set into an arched frame and is attached with pin hinges. The door is currently suited to internal use, perhaps for a lobby or as a characterful door for an en-suite. The door could maybe be converted for external use if the base panel was strengthened. The door is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of use and age. The paint has some cracks and flaking and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint the door to suit. The frame has some slight damage with a portion of the outer edge broken away and some of the outer edge is loose and will need securing. There are some small splinters, a cut out and some holes from where is was previously attached. There are some knocks and chips to both the door and frame. The handle has light tarnish. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has an interesting appearance, full of character, and it would be a fantastic addition to a home.
