An interesting and characterful, reclaimed, pine door dating to the late Georgian or Early Victorian period. One face of the door has an unusual design with two flush panels at the base, typical of the Georgian period, and recessed top panels with bolection moulding in the style of the Victorian period. The other face of the door has recessed panels with decorative mouldings. The door is very sturdy and is finely made with mortise and tenon joints. The pine has been waxed and polished, highlighting the characterful wood grain. The door has been used internally but could perhaps be converted for external use. The door is in good antique condition with some small signs of age and wear. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. The pine has some scratches, marks and slight discolouration in areas. There are some small knocks and chips. The hinges and bolt have some tarnish. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has great period character and its panel configuration is an interesting feature. The door is very well made and would make a charming addition to a home.
