DP0394 A PAIR OF RECLAIMED INTERNAL OAK DOORS FOR GLAZING

A pair of reclaimed internal oak doors for glazing. The doors comprise of an oak frame which has been stained or varnished but will need sanding and re-finishing by purchaser to suit as there is fading and scratches. Each door has a large panel for glazing. We can glaze the doors with toughened glass for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. Each door has three large brass hinges. The doors are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of use and damage, as expected. There is some damage to the top of the base panel of one door where some of the oak has broken away. There are holes and marks on the inner and outer edges where door hardware has been removed, some holes to the door bases and the inner edges have a notch above the hardware holes. A splinter of wood broke way from the base corner of one door and it has been wood glue repaired. The doors have some thin surface splits and some knocks and there are some small notches out at the top of the doors. A peg at the top of one door has come out slightly. The varnish has fading and scratches and a pale area where kick plates were added. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a nice appearance and once glazed and re-finished they will be a great addition to the home.
