A pair of elegant and attractive, reclaimed, oak internal doors fitted with stained glass panels. The doors have a very nice appearance with a recessed panel at the base of each, with decorative mouldings. The oak has been stripped to bare wood, highlighting the attractive wood grain and ready for purchaser to finish to suit. The reclaimed doors have been fitted with very nice stained glass panels dating to C.1929. The glass design is typical of the period, with an abstract flower in red with green leaves and yellow sections. The stained glass is surrounded by clear textured glass and the lead is solid and stable. The doors each have three good quality brass hinges. The doors are in good solid condition and have been very well made with mortise and tenon joints but do have some signs of age and use, as expected. The doors have some filled hardware holes and a patch repair, all done to a good standard. There are some small knocks and chips, especially to the panel mouldings. There are some small holes in the oak that surrounds the glass. One face of the doors was painted blue and there is residue colour seen in some areas. There are some paler patches where finger plates and kick plates were attached. One piece of green glass has an imperfection or scratch. The hinges have some residue paint but are very solid. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors are very striking with a very nice period appearance and they would make a fantastic showpiece for a home.
