M1651 TWO RECLAIMED GOTHIC STYLE CAST IRON WINDOWS FOR GLAZING

A pair of reclaimed cast iron windows. The windows are likely to date to the early half of the 20th Century and have a very nice design with a Gothic style arched top and six panels for glazing. The windows will need some refurbishment or upcycling. The paint has chips and flaking, there is surface rust and residue concrete from previous use around the edges. The windows are currently unglazed and you could ask a glazier to fit with either glass or perhaps mirror glass to make the windows into interesting mirrors. The windows do have some signs of age and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The window putty is missing in many places and the windows will need glazing and puttying. Please see pictures for condition details. The windows have a very nice, period, Gothic style appearance and once refurbished by purchaser the windows will make fantastic interior items or characterful windows.
