M1660 RECLAIMED RUSTIC VICTORIAN PINE BARN BOARDS FOR PHOTO BACKDROP

A set of 9 wide, reclaimed, Victorian pine boards that were originally used in a barn. The partially painted boards have a very interesting rustic look with a fantastic pattern making them ideal for a photographic backdrop, wall cladding or a stunning bead head. When put together as pictured the boards measure approximately 2 metres wide. The original wood batons that held the planks in place have been removed and this has left an aesthetically pleasing pattern on the pine in a triangular form also with horizontal lines. The set does include 9 boards but in order for the pattern to flow (as pictured) 8 boards are seen and the last board is positioned behind, with a tapered board with some damage put in front (please see pictures 2 and 3 for details). The board behind will need to be cut in to fit with the tapered board and any extra could be used by purchaser to make other notches good. The pine was painted white and the paint has chipping and losses that add to the boards interesting look. The painted front face of the boards have been jet washed and one coat of acrylic varnish applied to protect the rustic appearance. The back face of the boards have been jet washed. 

The boards are reclaimed and do have signs of use and wear, adding great character. The boards have a riven texture with nails, holes, gashes, splits and cracks. There are some notches cut out and one board is tapered where it has sustained damage and one edge has broken away. The paint is fading and there are character marks left from the removal of wood braces. Please see pictures for condition details. 

The boards have a truly interesting and characterful appearance and would make a stunning display for a home or for use as a photographic backdrop, making them very desirable for a rustic interior for a home or business.
