A simple reclaimed pine fire surround. The surround has a classic design with plain mantel and serpentine edge corbels with chunky feet. The wood has been stripped, has an attractive colour and grain, and is ready for a paint, wax or oil finish . The surround is ideal for framing a cast iron insert and is of a good size for a living or dining room. The surround is reclaimed and has some rustic features. The surround has some small holes, some of which are filled. There are some small holes and dark stains to the front edge of the mantel. There are some knocks and splintered edges to the back of the mantel. Some stains and marks can be seen. The classic design of the fire surround makes it ideal for a period or modern property and would fit nicely with many insert designs.
