A pretty, reclaimed, oak gate leg table dating to the early to mid 20th Century. The table has a traditional appearance with two drop leaves that are supported by two gate legs when opened out. The legs move freely and the table is easily extended and folded. The base of the table has 8 attractive barley twist legs with stretchers. When extended the table would seat 4-6 people. The oak has a very nice grain, with great character and the oak appears to have been varnished. The table is in good reclaimed condition with some small signs of wear, as expected. There are some small chips and scuffs in the oak. There are some areas of discolouration where the varnish has faded. There is slight separation to one of the table top oak sections leaving the appearance of a slight gap or split. Please see pictures for condition details. The table is ideal for a smaller space and can be folded away and stored fairly easily without it taking up too much room. The table could also be used as a fold away garden table and transported outside when needed (not to be left outside as it is not suited for exposure to weather). The table has a nice period appearance and is a versatile and useful item.
