A reclaimed cast iron brazier for conversion into a hanging ceiling light, as shown in the pictures. The brazier has a very nice appearance with scrolled detail at the base of each iron bar. The brazier has a Gothic appearance with thick bars and it has a domed top. The brazier has had a loop and hanging chain attached to it and has been fitted with an electrical cable and currently a 5amp plug. We will be REMOVING the plug for sale as purchaser MUST GET A QUALIFIED ELECTRICAN TO CHECK THE WIRING and wire in the light as required. We CANNOT take responsibility for wiring. We will include the large bulb if you would like but we cannot guarantee that it will arrive safely and is sent at your own risk. Please note: we have two other braziers that have not yet been fitted with a hanging loop and chain (one has opened up at the base where the circular iron should join), please see the last picture for details. Please contact us if you require more than one brazier, perhaps to hang above a dining room table. The brazier is reclaimed and therefore has some character signs of age. The brazier has some small scratches casting marks and pitting. There is some patina and light surface rust in areas. One bar has a slight bend or dent. Please see pictures for condition details. The brazier would make a very nice, unique, light making a fantastic character feature in a home or business.
