Three sets of antique, reclaimed, cast iron sliding door gear / hanging brackets /runners SOLD PER PAIR and PRICE IS PER PAIR (£95 each pair). The sliding door gear is made by AK & Sons, West Bromwich (Hatfields Patent No 2324) and are likely to date to 1890-1900. Each sliding door gear / runner comprises of a front plate with a nice shape and makers name and patent information. The back of the runner has a wheel at the top that moves from side to side and is designed to sit on a track approx 5mm thick (please check before buying track). The front plate has fixing holes for attaching the sliding door gear to a door. The iron has been cleaned and lacquered giving each runner a nice industrial look and an interesting finish that highlights the natural patina and colour. Each pair are in good useable condition with character signs of their age. The runners have some small scratches and knocks. There are some small casting marks and patina. There is some light surface rust adding to the industrial style character. Please see pictures for condition details. The sliding door gear has a fantastic period look that would be a great addition to a sliding / barn door.
