M1677 A FINE BLACKSMITH MADE RECLAIMED VICTORIAN CAST IRON GARDEN GATE

A very decorative, reclaimed, original Victorian garden gate. The cast iron gate is of a superb quality and has been blacksmith made. The gate has decorative fleur-de-lys that are of a fine quality and feature at the top of the gate and approximately half way down. The gate has a traditional latch that is fully working and two eyelet receivers for pin hinges. The pin hinges are not included and will need to be supplied by purchaser. The gate requires 12mm pins. The cast iron has been cleaned and has a natural finish that allows the patina to be seen. The gate is in very good condition with some small character signs of age, as expected of reclaimed antiques. The gate has some small knocks and imperfections from casting. The gate has some pitting and some surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The gate is a very fine example of Victorian craftsmanship and will make a very nice period feature for a home.
