M1705 3 PAIRS OF RECLAIMED VICTORIAN CAST IRON WINDOWS SOLD PER PAIR

Three pairs of reclaimed, antique painted cast iron glazed windows, SOLD PER PAIR AND PRICED PER PAIR (£245 per pair), on a first come, first served basis. The windows have a fantastic design with long octagonal glazed panels and small diamond or triangle glazed sections. The windows are believed to date to approximately C.1850. Each pair has a "fixed" window and an opening window with a handle and decorative stay bar. Some of the fixed windows have lozenges for fixings. All opening windows have eyelets for pin hinges. Pin hinges and fixing plates must be supplied by purchaser. 

The glass is thin and PURCHASER MUST ENSURE THE GLASS MEETS CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS and change the glass if it does not. Please note pair B has broken glass and UPDATE pair C has sustained broken glass since the photographs were taken. 

The windows are in antique condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected. The frames have some surface rust and some outer edges have red paint. There are some small patches of paint over the smaller glass sections and some scratches, chips and knocks to the paint. The glass is thin and pair B and C have panes with broken glass.There are some knocks and unevenness to the frames. Please see pictures for condition details. The windows are  a beautiful example of Victorian craftsmanship and would make an interesting and rare feature in a home.
