M1723 A RECLAIMED VICTORIAN METAL GARDEN CHAIR FOR RESTORATION PROJECT

A reclaimed, single seat, Victorian garden chair for a restoration project. The chair has a wonderful look, typical of the Victorian period, with scrolling arms and feet but it is now showing many signs of age and wear. The chair will need restoration by purchaser to include removing all the old rotten slats, replacing all the bolts (gutter bolts) and stripping and repainting the metal frame as there is surface rust and the paint is chipping and flaking. We are including three reclaimed teak plank panels which will be enough to create the 15 slats the chair requires. Each slat will need to be 4cm wide and 1.5cm thick. We can cut the slats to the right size for a small extra charge, please contact us for details. The teak will need to be sanded and finished by purchaser to suit. Please see pictures for condition details. The chair is of a very attractive antique design and it will make a fantastic project for a restoration enthusiast.
