M1707 TWO RECLAIMED GOTHIC LANCET STRIPPED PINE WINDOWS FOR GLAZING

£275.00

Code: M1707

A pair of reclaimed attractive Gothic lancet pine windows. The windows are likely to date to the early half of the 20th Century and have a very nice traditional design with a slender Gothic pointed arched top with a solid panel at the base. Each window has a large area for glazing or they could be glazed with mirror glass and turned into stunning and unusual mirrors. The pine has been stripped to bare wood but please note there is some slight paint residue still visible. The windows can be left stripped or finished by purchaser to suit. Each window has one rebated outer edge. The windows are in stable and useable condition with some signs of age and some damage, as expected of reclaimed items. The windows have some knocks and holes and there are some splits and cracks. One window has some damage to its edge where some of the wood has broken away and there are further splits to both. The windows have some patch repairs that have been carried out to a good standard. There is some damage from wood knots. One window has a wooden peg joint at the top that stands out from the main frame. One frame has a cut mark. The width has variation due to age and damage. Please see pictures for condition details. The windows have a fantastic, period, Gothic appearance and they will make wonderful feature mirrors or characterful windows.
