M1718 A RECLAIMED REPRODUCTION BRASS RIM LOCK "REGENCY"

A reclaimed reproduction brass rim lock and receiver. The "Regency" rim lock is a reproduction of Victorian designs and has an antique finish, with a sliding bolt and has a nice decorative appearance with delicate detail around the outer edges. The lock can be used on either side of the door. The lock is of a good construction and has loops on the outer edges for fixing screws. The lock is in good reclaimed condition with some small signs of use, as expected. The brass has some tarnish, discolouration and scratches. The lock may be able to be polished by purchaser to achieve a higher shine finish if required. Please see pictures for condition details. The lock is an attractive reproduction of Victorian designs and is a useful and quality item.
