An elegant, reclaimed, Victorian painted pine internal Cardiff door. The door has a pretty design with recessed panels at the base with decorative mouldings and it has elegant gunstock stiles. The top half of the door has nine panels for glazing, typical of the Cardiff door style, one larger, four corner and four rectangular border panels. The large panel and one square panel is missing the glass, one square panel has a crack in the glass and all glass has paint residue. Please note, the remaining glass will NOT MEET CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS and it MUST be changed. We can re-glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door is antique and is in need of some restoration and is suitable for internal use only. There are holes and marks left from hardware removal. The door has some surface cracks and splits. There are knocks, gouges and chips to the door, especially the base edge. The paint has flaking and marks. The glazing putty is cracking and breaking away. The hinges have surface rust and are broken and will need changing. Some of the joints have some slight separation. The door height and width may need slight levelling.
