A handsome and nicely made reclaimed oak front door. The door is very well made with mortise and tenon joints and has a nice appearance with three, vertical, recessed panels. The door has an iron letterplate with door knocker and pull handle. The door has a lock but there is no key and you will need to remove and replace it. The oak has been sanded to bare wood, ready for you to finish it to suit.
The door is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of use and age, as expected. The door has some small knocks, indentations and chips and there is a knock to one edge. The oak has some discolouration and staining and there are some small patches of varnish left. There are some small marks and discolouration from hardware and door number removal. The hinges have some tarnish and paint residue. There are some small filled holes at the top of the door on the inside face. Door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is an attractive reclaimed item and of a nice size, making it ideal for adding character to a home.
