A large and heavy reclaimed vintage school science lab worktop. The hardwood worktop is ideal for a project, such as for making a desktop. The top of the worktop has a varnished finish but there are scratches, marks, some discolouration and a large un-varnished area and purchaser will need to sand and re-finish the wood to suit. The worktop had holes cut into it for a sink and for taps. There is a notch in one edge near the sink hole. The worktop is in good solid reclaimed condition with some signs of wear, as expected. There are some marks, knocks, notches and there are some surface splits and cracks, mainly at the joins between wood sections. One edge has a split near one end and the wood has come away slightly from the rest of the worktop. The worktop has some colour variation. Please see pictures for condition details. The vintage lab worktop is very useful and is of a good quality, ideal for a diy project.
