CS0109 A SET OF 3 RECLAIMED TOP HUNG FRENCH WINDOW SHUTTERS

A set of three reclaimed French pine window shutters. The shutters have several fixed slats and are designed to be top hung. The inside face of the shutters have been indented around the edges so they fit nicely into the window recess. The shutters have been painted, cream on one side and pink on the other. The paint has some chips and flakes and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint the shutters to suit. The shutters are in solid condition with some light damage and signs of use, as expected of reclaimed antiques. The shutters have some surface cracks and some slight separation to some joints. The pine has some knocks, chips and some light damage, especially to the base edges. There are some nails in the wood. The hinges have surface rust and are stiff and will need changing. Please see pictures for condition details. The shutters have a very nice appearance, are solid and well made and are ideal for a DIY project.
