A handsome, reclaimed, oak external door and frame, likely to date to the early 20th Century. The doors is heavy and well made and has a plank design on the front face and recessed panels on the internal face. The top of the door has a panel that has been glazed. The door is glazed with textured clear glass and two sections have the traditional bullseyes. The glass has leadwork that is intact. The door has a letterplate and metal door knob but other door hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. There is a drip bar at the base of the door. The oak has a dark stain, paint or varnish on the external face and a slightly lighter varnished finish on the internal face. The door has some scratches, scuffs and discolouration and purchaser may wish to sand and refinish the door to suit. The door is set into a simple oak frame. 

The door and frame are in solid condition with some signs of age, wear and damage, as expected of reclaimed items. The base of the frame is damaged and will need to be repaired. We can repair the frame base for an extra charge, please contact us for a quote. There are some chips and knocks and some damage to the frame and door. The frame has some notches out of it and some holes and there is some damage near the top hinge. The door has some scratches and scuffs and the finish has some discolouration. The glass has some scratches and the lead has some knocks to the coating. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has nice character and would make a great addition to a home.
