M1793 A RECLAIMED HARWOOD SCHOOL LAB WORKTOP FOR PROJECT

A reclaimed vintage school science lab worktop. The hardwood worktop is likely to be either teak or iroko and is ideal for a project, such as for making a desktop. The top of the worktop has wear and discolouration and purchaser will need to sand and refinish the wood to suit. The worktop had a hole cut into it for a sink and for taps. Purchaser could cut the holes away if desired. The worktop is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of wear, as expected. There are some marks, knocks and there is some damage where the worktop has been knocked and there is splintering or some wood broken away. The top has scratches, wear and discolouration and some of the varnish has faded. One edge is uneven and therefore the worktop varies in width. The worktop has a slight cup or bow. Please see pictures for condition details. The vintage lab worktop is very useful and is ideal for a diy project.
