M1798 A RECLAIMED SOLID ELM BOARD FOR WORKTOP OR SHELF

A heavy, rustic, reclaimed, solid elm board. The board is ideal for making into worktop or a large shelf. The elm is in rustic condition, with uneven edges that show the natural shape of the tree, and will need sanding and finishing by purchaser to suit. The board is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of wear and rustic characteristics, as expected. The wood has some stains, scratches, wood knots and marks. The wood has some deep cracks and splits, especially to one end, but the board is solid, with slight movement to the crack at one end. There is variation to the width. There is some evidence of woodworm that is likely to be dead now. Please see pictures for condition details. The board has a nice rustic appearance and is very useful,  ideal for adding character to a project.
