Two handsome matching reclaimed pine doors that can be used as a pair. The doors date to C.1900 and are heavy and well made, with mortise and tenon joints. The doors have a traditional style, each with four recessed panels with decorative beading around them. The doors have been stripped to bare wood but please note that there is some dampness left from the strip tank, which is visible on one door, and are therefore not suitable for painting. The doors were originally used as single doors but they are matching and could be used as a pair. The doors are reclaimed and have some signs of use and age, as expected. The doors have some knocks, chips, marks, wood knots and scratches. There is a strip of residue dampness visible on one door, left from a strip tank. The doors have some surface cracks and splits. There are some holes and marks left from hardware removal and some further small holes. One door has some splintering to a base corner. The hinges will need replacing. The door widths and heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very nice handsome appearance and are of a good quality, ideal for adding period character to a home.
