An elegant, reclaimed, Edwardian painted pine door dating to C.1910-1920. The door is solid and well made and has a nice appearance, typical of the Edwardian era. The base of the door has three slender recessed panels with beading and the top of the door has an arched panel. The panel is currently glazed but the glass has a large crack and will not meet safety requirements. Please note the glass MUST be changed before use. We can re-glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The front of the door has been painted white and the back has either a waxed or stained finish. The paint has flaking, stains and chips and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint the front of the door to suit. There is a space for a letterplate.

The door is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of age and use, as expected. The pine has knocks and chips from use and age. There are some stains, holes and marks from hardware removal and there is some damage around the letter box hole. We can patch repair larger hardware holes for an extra charge, please contact us for a quote. The door bell press is not wired to a bell and will not work. The door has some small holes and some surface splits. One split has had some filler applied to it. The door width may need some levelling. Please see pictures for condition details.
