A reclaimed, reproduction, cast iron tiled fire insert made by Stovax. The fire insert is a reproduction of Art Nouveau designs and has a lovely brass smoke hood with flower decoration in the Art Nouveau style. The fire insert has a decorative border and the fire has been fitted with reproduction Art Nouveau fire tiles. Each tile is of the same design, depicting tulips and leaves. The fire has decorative front bars and an ash pan cover with flower detail. Please note: the listing price is for the tiled insert ONLY and the clay fire back and cast iron fire stool pictured with the fire insert are extra if required. The clay back is an extra £60 and the stool is £40. Please let us know at time of purchase if you would like to purchase either or both the clay back and stool. 

The fire insert is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of wear. The iron has some scratches and marks around the edges of the fire insert and the iron has some surface rust. The iron has some casting marks. There is some residue paint visible. The tile glaze has some crazing. The tiles have some stains and marks to the edges and some small knocks. The top of the insert has some notches cut out of it. The back of the insert has surface rust. The brass hood has some tarnish. The ash pan cover has some damage where the left hand bottom corner has broken off. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire has a nice design and is ideal for a period home.
