A pair of tall, reclaimed, original Georgian painted pine doors, ideal for use as cupboard doors or larder / pantry doors. The doors are of a very similar design and size but they were not originally a pair. Each door has three recessed panels on the front face and on the back face the panels have a slightly raised appearance. Both doors have rebated inner edges on the same side and therefore some work will be needed to remove one and replace it with a rebate bead that fits the other, or they could be cut off. One door has not been finished and painted on the back face and has been left with a rough appearance.

The doors are rustic and are in 'as found' condition and due to their considerable age they will need some restoration by purchaser. The paint has extensive flaking, chipping and dark stains and the doors will need to be sanded and re-painted by purchaser to suit. The pine has knocks, splits and some damage. There is separation to some of the joints. The wood has some evidence of woodworm which should now be dead. There is some softness to the wood in places. The hinges are damaged and have surface rust and there is some damage where hinges have been removed. The door edges have some knocks and damage. The door heights may need slight levelling. One door has had a baton added to the outside edge that has damage to it at the bottom. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have great age and period character and are of a good size, ideal for a home restoration project.
